Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Shafbuild collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Who we are
Shafbuild is a design and construct builder at 49 Boronia St, Kensington NSW 2033. You can reach us on 1800 714 150 or at info@shafbuild.com.au.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, suburb, company name (strata form only), the answers you pick about your project and your message.
With each enquiry the site also sends:
- the page you sent it from and the first page you visited on this site
- the website that sent you here, without any search terms or other details after the address
- advertising tags in the link you arrived on, if you came from one of our ads
- how long the form was open, and a random reference number, which help us stop spam and duplicate messages
The Careers page has no form: job applications go by email to info@shafbuild.com.au.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, discuss and quote your project, and keep a record of our dealings with you. We use the page and advertising details to see which pages and ads bring enquiries.
Our software sorts new enquiries and can draft a reply. A person at Shafbuild reads every reply before it is sent.
Where it is kept
Enquiries are stored in our customer management system, hosted in Sydney, Australia. To stop spam, the form service keeps a one-way scrambled version of your internet address for 24 hours, not the address itself.
Analytics and cookies
On www.shafbuild.com.au we use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel. They use cookies and similar technology to show us how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed and where people click and scroll, and whether visits come from our ads. These services are run by Google, Microsoft and Meta, which may store this information outside Australia.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Seeing or correcting your details
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@shafbuild.com.au or call 1800 714 150.
